Can’t amend return

Could you please clarify why you cannot amend your return? Are you receiving an error message?

My amend return won’t let me transmit it keep saying date has to be on it before 12/31/2019 than when I change date it says date has to b on or after today’s date 3/15/2020 so how can I transmit my 2018 amend return
