As i entered my expenses, there was a link where I could create my 1099-Misc. forms for my contract labor workers. I clicked on it and let me begin filling out the forms. Unfortunately, it wouldn't let me continue claiming it was unavailable at that time. i tried going back a few times, but no luck.
I ended up e-filling my return to the IRS, but i never finished filling out my 1099 forms. Will that affect my return?

It shouldn't affect your income tax return. No "1099-MISC" information is incorporated into your income tax return. All the IRS sees is a lump sum of "Revenue", (1099-MISC's to you plus and "general' income you entered), or a "Contract Labor" lump sum, (1099-MISC's you've prepared plus any other contract labor you entered where no 1099-MISC was required).
Keep working on sending your 1099-MISC's as you do want them in by the deadline.

New filing date. Public Law 114-113, Division Q, section 201, requires Form 1099-MISC to be filed on or before January 31, 2017, when you are reporting nonemployee compensation payments in box 7. Otherwise, file by February 28, 2017, if you file on paper, or by March 31, 2017, if you file electronically. The due dates for furnishing payee statements remain the same.
