Can I still amend my 2018 taxes?

I am thinking the answer is 'no'. However, is it possible to still amend my 2018 tax return, if I filed it in April 2019?

Correct.... there are time limitations.

You CAN amend any return however a refund of taxes paid prior to 4/2019 will not be issued.

So, if the amendment shows that I am owed more $, then I will not get it?
