Can I skip uploading tax documents from last year?

If you prefer having to start from scratch and enter everything including all of your personal information, etc. etc. etc, and prefer having to look up your 2022 AGI instead of having it transfer over from your 2022 return, you can do that.  You are not required to transfer your 2022 file into 2023.

But.....if you use the exact same account and user ID, it will be simple to transfer 2022 in to 2023 and save yourself some work.

Last year meaning 2022 or 2023?   If you mean 2023 and are asking about importing documents (W2 and 1099) you can manually enter them instead.
