Can I pay electronically when I amend my return?

I know that I need to mail my new return to the IRS, but can I pay money online and attach a payment confirmation with my amended return then mail the IRS?

Yes, you have the option to pay the IRS online. You do not need to attach a payment confirmation with your Amended Return as the payment will be credited to your account and matched to your return automatically.
