Can i have my refund direct deposited eventhough i have no bank account ? i have a prepaid card that has a routing and account number though

YES ... you can have the refund deposited to any bank account that  have the required  routing & account numbers for IRS or state refund deposits. All prepaid debit cards have underlying bank accounts connected to them  but  please  check with the card rules before doing anything.
