Can I e-file my 2019 amended return with TurboTax Online?

You cannot e-file an amended 2019 tax return after Oct 15, 2020.    The IRS servers were taken down then to get ready for 2020 tax returns filed in 2021.

Only professional software can still amend online because that uses a different server.

Can I e-file my 2019 amended return with TurboTax Online?

VolvoGirl:  I clicked the link on how to file an amended 2019 with the desktop version, and I got this message:                  "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action.

Click your browser's Back button to continue."

I weirdly can't figure out how to "search" in TT 2019 Home & Business, to find the "amend" section to "walk me through it."  I CAN find and open the 1040X, but apparently can't do the "step-by-step" to complete it.  :(

Can I e-file my 2019 amended return with TurboTax Online?

The last link doesn't work, says I don't have privileges to open it, even though I'm signed in.

You kindly stated:

     4.  You should now be working inside the copy you'll be amending. Inside your program, search

for amend and then click the Jump to link.

I'm using Windows downloaded TT Home and Business 2019, and I've used Turbo Tax for YEARS... but I can find any way to search, nor any way to find anything about "amending" a return, and no "jump to" link.  :(

I CAN find the FORM 1040X, open it, and it DOES have the information in Column A, but for this unusual task, I'd love to have the "step-by-step," but can't seem to get there.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!
