Can I amend my 2014 and 2015 returns and not take the deductions on my Schedule C (they were accurate) so that I have the income above $5,000 to earn Soc Sec credits?

I did not receive a tax refund during these years as my loss just reduced the income tax owed on my spouse's income.

No. You are legally required to claim all of your business expenses.
