Can anyone tell me why my taxes never got paid?

I owed federal and state taxes. I selected April 15th as the payment date. Today is 4/19, still no pending deductions to my account.  I called IL- IRS yesterday.  The IRS sees no pending transactions on my taxes said I needed to call TT.  I called TT and they told me everything is good on their end w/ filing status, bank info so I should call the IRS.....Each person passed the buck and I'm sitting here afraid my taxes are going to now be late and have penalties etc.  Can anyone tell me what is going on? 

Please don't say bank account its not that - already checked it.

  TT has nothing to do with payments.    the electronic file goes to the IRS which pulls the info provided to collect.  did the state get its funds on the date you specified?.  if so, the problem is would seem to be with IRS or the info you provided them.     you can always go to IRS website and make payment.  if its duplicated, the IRS will mail a refund check to the address on the return.

I called the IRS, again this week and now they are telling me unable to locate account. This makes me very unhappy with TT because I called TT on 4/16 to verify the account information and payment setup was correct and I was told that it was. Also it’s even worse because this is the same account I use every year, it shouldn’t even have been an issue to begin with.
