I received my prepaid card, activated for 4 days and had my return accepted by the IRS. Does it normally take more then a week get get funds deposited after acception?

• As soon as the IRS approves your refund, the money gets electronically deposited to your card.  Accepted simply means the government received your e-filed tax return. The next step is for the government to approve your refund before they can send your money to you.
• It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to go from acceptance to approval.
  

• Once approved you can contact Turbo Prepaid Visa to verify their direct deposit procedures and to determine if they hold funds beyond the date the IRS sends them over.

In short, yes, it can take upto 21 days to get your refund. It has to be accepted, then approved, then sent. Best option is to get checking www.irs.gov/wheresmyrefund. Hope this helps!
