Are the irs direct deposit dates accurate?

The date you received from TurboTax is an estimate and may or may not be the day the IRS finishes processing your return.

Are the irs direct deposit dates accurate?

As mentioned above, dates given by TurboTax are just estimates based on the assumption that the IRS will process returns within the normal 21 days. Never go by estimates. Always go by the actual date provided on the IRS website as we have no control over your return once the IRS has accepted it for processing. If you have any inquiries regarding any delay you should contact the IRS or your state Department of revenue directly.
You should track your refund directly from the IRS and/or Department of Revenue’s website. These websites have the most accurate and up to date information. They get updated once a day.

  • Refund Approved – We approved your refund and are preparing to issue it by the date shown.
  • Refund Sent – We sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail.
