Are Deceased persons tax refunds eligible for Direct Deposit?
I have filed all of the appropriate paperwork including the Form 1310, however it does not state if these refunds are Direct Deposited or not. Also whose name is the refund issued in? The deceased or the surviving family member that filed? Thanks!

Funds are direct deposited if you fill in the routing and account number form.
If you are the surviving spouse you should be able to specify your own checking account.
If you opened an estate account, use that one.
