Are you trying to check refund status for your 2025 return? The IRS has not even begun to accept 2025 returns except for a very small test batch. The IRS will begin to accept/reject e-files on January 26. Wait for the email that tells you that your e-file has been accepted, then give it a day or two to start watching the refund site.
