I completed my taxes yesterday (2/6/22) and had not received any email confirmation from IRS. I went into TT today (02/07/22) and it says that my taxes have "not been printed or e-filed". I am looking at the printed copies so I know I did that. It printed out the Electronic Filing Instructions also. I had selected e-file for just the Federal Form and filled out all the requested info (drivers license, checking acct and routing #'s, etc.).
How can I verify that the forms were sent?
Thanks,
Don

Oh are you using the Desktop program?
For the Desktop program you have to check the filing status inside the program. Open your return and go up to menu item
File > Electronic Filing > Check Electronic Filing Status
Actually, TT does not "send" your return. Once you have completed e-filing it, it sits on TT's server until the IRS comes and pulls it. Is it possible that you have more than one TT account?
No, only 1 account. How can I check that it was pulled off of the TT servers?
You can check your efile status here,
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup
When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile. Check your spam or Junk folder.
When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?
