Amending prior year return online. Frustrating!!

After much time trying to amend 2022 return, after using full service and being told I could, I spoke to an expert who told me it was not possible to amend a return and print using online. ( I had already learned that I couldn’t efile, despite reading here that the IRS accepts, so TurboTax just hasn’t programmed the system to do that?) TurboTax clearly says that I can amend using online,  there is a big blue button, saying amend here. I function on an iPad Pro, do not use a laptop, why is this not possible and why do TurboTax still encourage you to try when the function is not really there?

Some people are able to e-file prior year returns using TurboTax Online, but not all. There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the ones that go through and the ones that don't Try it and see if yours goes through, if it does, you are one of the lucky ones!
