Amending a return

I have filed my taxes for 2019 and they been accepted by the IRS. I did not include a copy or any information from my 1095 I need to amend my return to include this. How can I do this?

If you have already filed the return, you will not be able to make changes to it.  You will have to amend it.  Do not amend until you have determined if the IRS accepted or rejected the return.  If accepted wait until either you have received your refund or any payment you have made to the IRS has cleared.  If rejected you may go ahead and amend.  

You will be able to amend as soon as Form 1040X becomes available.  At this time the expected date of availability for the form 1040X is

02/20/2020 , however that date is subject to change.  You can track it's availability by going to the following link.

How do I amend my 2019 TurboTax Online return?

He IRS has accepted it but I know once they look closer, it will be delayed. There was nowhere in the program to enter my 1095 for the health insurance marketplace. My return was delayed last year for almost two months due to the same issue. I cannot wait for the letter come and then have to send it back. I also have to claim my stepdaughter, so I need to amend it as soon as possible. So for both situations, I’ll have to wait that 1040X to be available, correct?
