Amending 2024 Iowa 1040 Paper Return

I E-filed my 2024 Federal return and mailed paper Iowa returns recently.  A few days later I received an additional 1099-DIV statement.  I amended my Federal and Iowa returns with the new data.  I E-filed the amended Federal return successfully today (02-28-2025). 

When I attempt to print the amended Iowa return it disallows it because contains 'non-final forms which aren't available'.  After reviewing the forms I think IA Form 102 is the culprit.  The online help for Form 102 talks about waiting to file the amendment until my original refund has been received.

Is there a work around to this problem?  Or am I missing something else?

You can't e-file an amended return for Iowa in TurboTax. Refer to the TurboTax article Can I e-file my amended state return?

The reason you're unable to print Form 102 is because it's not finalized for printing yet but will be soon.
