Amending 2020 return already filed by mail for unemployement legislation change and already changing saved return file to see law's effect

I never amended with Turbo Tax before... I need to amend hopefully automatically for an efile change... the file shows the legislative change and newer major refund now owed due to unemployment compensation legislation.. Will Turbo tax still be able to send an amended return when the file has already been written over with most recent legislative effect on return?  I have no idea how to process this if this is the case.

the IRS does not want amended returns for correction of the taxability of UC.  it will handle it. you may need to wait until sometime in May before you see the refund.
