I filed an amended return for 2022 and paid extra taxes for 2022. Will I be able to enter the additional state and federal taxes of 2022 on my 2024 returns or should I use the amended return of 2022 to up-date my 2024 return instead of my 2023 return?

Federal taxes owed and paid for a prior tax year are not entered on federal tax return.
State taxes owed and paid are entered on Schedule A as an itemized deduction for the tax year paid. So if you paid additional state taxes for the 2022 state tax return in 2023, you will need to amend the 2023 return to add the payment on the 2023 Schedule A.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for amending a prior year tax return - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/amend-change-correct-return-a...
I did not explain that the amended return and additional taxes paid for 2022 was filed in October of 2024. I recieved a CP2000 form from the IRS about me forgetting to include income and taxes paid from my Railroad Retirement for 2022. My question is; will Turbo Tax show the additional taxes paid or will I get a cue of where and when I need to include the additional taxes I paid in October 2024???
THANKS
