Amended Return as not claimable as dependent- Will I receive a Stimulus check?

I mistakingly included in my 2019 taxes that I was eligible to be claimed as a dependent when they cannot. No one is claiming me as a dependent yet I included that on my 2019 return. I amended my return as of today, does that mean I am now eligible to receive a stimulus check? If so, does that mean I will not receive it for 16 weeks??

Yes, you now will be eligible for the stimulus check, and yes I do expect it is going to take a while for the IRS to get through all of the amended returns.  I wouldn't set a time expectation.
