Amended Return after letter from IRS

We received a letter from IRS about the Form 1095.  When reviewing my original return I found a keying error on one of the W2s.  This changed the refund from $1340 to $10.  We have not received the check.  Do I file an amended return with the return letter about the Form 1095 or do we just wait for IRS to find the keying error?

No it was not.  She only said if IRS had NOT processed the return but they HAVE processed the return and sent me a letter.  SO, do I hold off on the amended return and let them find the mistake on the W-2 keying error?  That will wipe out the refund down to $10.

Ok ... so the IRS stopped the processing of the original return and requested the 8962 & 1095-A  so that is all you should address at this time.   Once the IRS finishes processing the original return, if they don't catch your error, then you can file an amended return.  Amending out of order can mess things up and delay the processing of both returns.
