Amend for my late 1095-A

Hello,

I did my return and it was $1,021. After return I received 2 1095-A forms. I did amend and it show me $60 due to government. My question is, Will I receive the $1,021 and pay back $60? Or I won't receive anything and just pay $60?

Yes, you will still receive the original refund amount. When you amend your return, the refund or balance due shown is in addition to the amounts on the original return.

You will want to wait until you have received your original refund before mailing your amended return to the IRS.

When you amend your return, you will then mail the $60 payment to the IRS along with your 1040X form and paperwork.
