Amend Federal and NC State after filing for correction to form 5695

Line 7a: the yes box should have been checked instead of the no box. Do I need to file amended return to correct?

Yes, you would need to amend to claim the credit if the credit was being generated from Qualified fuel cell property.  If you marked no, then you would not have a credit showing up on line 11.  I recommend reviewing your Form 5695 as filed to confirm.
