In TurboTax Online, while logged in to your return, click on "State" on the far left of your screen. Then click on "Your State Returns" in the top center of the screen. Select the state for which you want to change residency status, and click on "Continue". After being asked if you filed a Missouri return last year, you should be able to change your residency status.
David - thanks for replying. No, it doesn’t. IT SHOULD but it doesn’t. In fact, it asks me about filing property taxes and takes me back to a screen to file as a part time nonresident or part time resident. NO option to just choose nonresident. Any other suggestions by chance? I am full time Illinois resident on federal and Illinois return. The system doesn’t even catch the Missouri residency error, given the I answered I was a full time resident in another state.
