Accepted return

I gave my new bank information on my 2020 return with updated routing and account numbers.  The IRS accepted the return so does that mean when they send the $1,400 Stimulus they will use that latest bank info for the direct deposit?

The $600 Stimulus took a month because it had to come by check because they only had my outdated bank info, so i'm hoping with this 2020 filing, they now have my correct bank and will direct deposit the $1400 and I won't have to wait a month next time.

I tried calling IRS but nobody picks up.

Accepted return

YES

The details for the third payment have not been released, but the idea of recording the Recovery Rebate Credit on the 2020 Federal Tax return IS to supply to the IRS your most current banking information.
