Have made high charity donations and satisfied with Federal Return
The Hawaii return limited my Gifts to Charity to 60% of Hawaii AGI.
Recently just for comparison I tried Taxslayer and Taxfreeusa.
With these tax programs, on Hawaii return they limited Gifts to Charity to 60% of Federal AGI
and thus resulted in higherGifts to Charity allowed and thus itemized deductions higer and Hawaii tax lower.
In my case Hawaii was about $2300 less than what Turbotax calulated.
Is Turbotax correct for Hawaii in using 60% of Hawaii AGI????

and for what it worth in the above case, CHATGPT indicates to use
in Hawaii Gift to Charity the same as Federal which limited to 60%
of Federal AGI
