Don't transfer the info using a 2023 PDF.   Use a 2023 tax data file that ends in *.tax2023.    If a PDF works at all, it only transfers minimal information.   You should use the tax data file instead of the PDF.  Do you have the *.tax2023 data file?

How to find your *.tax2023 data file from last year depends on how you prepared your 2023 return last year.  If you used desktop 2023 software, then the file will be wherever you saved it, since with the desktop version all files are stored locally on your computer or backup system.    If you saved it to your system, then search your entire system for any file ending in *.tax2023 as well as anywhere you could have backed it up.  In Windows, the default folder for tax data files is the Documents\TurboTax folder, but one could have saved it anywhere.   I don't use a Mac (if that's your OS), so can't help you in that regard, but I suspect folks use the Finder or Spotlight tool.

If you prepared the 2023 in Online TurboTax, you have to log into the same account with the same User ID, and at the Tax Home scroll down to "Your Tax Returns & Documents", and choose tax year 2023, and you should see the tax data file in that section.    The actual steps can be more involved than that, since sometimes it is hard to find, but we can tell you a longer pathway to find it--IF you used Online TurboTax for 2023.    I didn't give the long answer since I don't even know if you used Online TurboTax last year or not.
