2021 Amended Return Refund Method

I need to mail in my amended return for 2021. I will be owed money but have already received the orginal refund via direct deposit. How will the IRS send the small amount I am owed from the amendment? Will it be a  mailed check or direct deposited to the same account the original refund was sent to?

The IRS will send you a refund check in the mail to the address on the amended tax return, if the 2021 amend return shows a refund.
