As of 3/1/22 I still haven't received my refund from 2020. The refund status option on the IRS web site is worthless, as I get the same pat answer - it's being processed, don't waste your time talking to us because we won't respond. I'm due another refund for 2021, but what's the point of filing if they aren't going to pay up?

If you filed electronically and received an acknowledgement, you do not need to do anything other than continue to wait and promptly respond to any requests from the IRS regarding your refund from your 2020 tax return. Please see When will I get my IRS tax refund? for more information.
In regards to your 2021 tax return, refunds usually take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your e-filed return. Although, sometimes it can take longer. The IRS is taking more than 21 days (and up to 90 to 120 days) to issue refunds for tax returns with the Recovery Rebate Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit. Please see What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days? for more information.
@KC702
Same runaround I get from the feds. You must be on the payroll. Thanks for nothing.
