Did you e-file your return & was it accepted? If you recently e-filed your return, then the IRS may not have your information in their system yet. Accepted means that your return passed the first stage, the IRS has it but now they must process it, then they will approve your refund.
The IRS is closed but they are still processing e-filed returns. It is taking the IRS longer to process those returns. You are getting that error because mostly likely the IRS has not yet started to process your return, so your information is not in their system yet.
If the IRS does not get your 2019 return processed, they would use the information from your 2018 return (if you filed one). If you did not file a 2018 return, & the IRS does not get your 2019 return processed in time, you will be able to claim the stimulus money on your 2020 return (filed in 2021).

Its almost 2022 and im still waiting. For my 2019 taxes. They were approved. And I dont want them to use my 2018 because im received a bigger refund on my 2019 return. Can I just amend it and refile?

You do not amend the original tax return that has been filed and Accepted unless you are making changes to the original tax return. And you do Not re-file the same tax return that has already been filed.
Is there a 2019 tax transcript available on the IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
Contact the IRS for the status of the 2019 tax return that you filed.
Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
