Yes, I have an account with IRS- I check everyday lol. I checked an hour ago, N/A - still. I’ve also heard that we should be getting a DD soon. I will keep checking my transcripts everyday, daily, and update this thread for y’all. Also if my family members or friends that were accepted 2-11 have an update I will write on here. It’s not just turbo tax, it’s everyone.
I called today, sent in my return on 2/13, was accepted 2/13, on hold for over an hour and the person finally told me it was in Error recovery dept. I had to wait 10 weeks and call back but she said it may have to do the recover relief. I’m pissed, I need my money.
Honestly I’ve been on the other discussion boards today- from what I read IRS reps are being told to say this as part of a script lol. I’m sure it will be before 10 weeks. They want to say the most amount of time possible, but if they are as quick as they are with snatching peoples money they should be just as quick with returning it! I’m hoping our stimulus stuff does not get screwed up especially for people who really need it. It’s not fair for ALL the early filers who have been stuck on “processing” to be punished by saying they’ll use your 2019 income and once taxes are processed if you are owed more with the new stimulus you’ll get by July. Really? So make people wait more. I’m sorry everyone is going through this, just know you aren’t alone! I checked my transcripts again and still n/a. I checked the WMR to many times today so it locked me out. Lol!
I just read this and laughed- well duh their down because they can’t process them!!!!!
The IRS reported Thursday that total tax refunds are down 32 percent from the same time last year almost a month after the filing season began.
The drop in tax refunds could be due to filing season starting two weeks later than normal as almost 18 percent fewer people have filed their returns so far compared to last year, data from the IRS show.
The number of direct deposit refunds that have gone out is also down 26 percent compared to last year.
The WMR updates one single time per day. That’s it. Midnight. If you check at 12:01 am, then it’s going to tell you the same thing as the first time you checked. Until the next night at midnight. LOL! This is part of a script? That’s crazy. They are literally working with 30% of their staff. Half of the hubs were shut down permanently. Once you file they go into a hub somewhere, pulled one at a time for processing and returns. There’s no certain order. No first file, first to process. It’s like drawing a name from a hat. All we can do is wait! The IRS employees know nothing more than that. They are working the same as you or I. We have to wait until they get to ours. That’s all there is to it! It’s out of our hands and theirs at this point. It does NOT matter if you filed first or last. They are processing what they can with each day. Just give it a little more time and keep checking your bank accounts. WMR doesn’t even work half the time.
No. Do NOT refile. They stated this on the news. YouTube channels. If people don’t get it, or people had a baby after filing or any changes, they have to wait until next years taxes to go through this all again. It will be another tax exemption or rebate if you will. People are being asked to not file a second time. If you do, yours will be flagged for review and you will never get them. You have to wait until this time next year to claim this stimulus .
******UPDATE********
checked my WMR STILL SAME, BUT checked my transcripts and BOOM!
My 2020 are done and my 846 code with a deposit date of 3/17 appeared on my transcripts- I always get my deposits on Wednesday so this make sense.
Don’t give up hope!!!!!!!!! I’ll update if the WMR tool updates!!
How do you check your transcripts and on this site or the IRS site?

Go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
Go to the IRS Website- register for an account and you can view all your transcripts.
Thank you so much. Mine says no record of return filed! What the heck! TT says it was accepted
Do you happen to know what it means when your "as of" date changes on your transcript? Could it possibly mean that your DDD is coming soon?
Now the as of date never changed- it only changed this morning when my refund showed on my tax return- I will see that I’ve seen on a lot of threads that if your TT 152 went missing and came back usually takes 3 days after that for transcript to update with deposit date or in some cases WMR- my WMR still says same message. My transcripts as of date said “March 15th” up until today and then changed to “‘March 29th.” Keep checking Unlike WMR transcripts update throughout the day. I hope this helps!
It will say “no record of return filed” until they complete it- keep checking because transcripts update throughout the day unlike WMR 🙄
Oh my goodness thank you so much! I was hoping that was the answer but i legit got super nervous. I’ll keep checking. Again, Thank you so much
