I filed my taxes with TurboTax Feb 10 2022 and it stated for my Federal return I would get $1,262 I waited a while for it to post and all I got was $244.06 from TPG. I have called TPG called Intuit help line called the IRS with two different numbers and it said it was reduced for having offsets. I do not have dependents I do not have loans I do not have and offsets! I would love to receive the money I worked hard for.

First, have you checked the IRS' Where's My Refund website?  It may have information about a correction or an offset.  For more details on why your refund could be less than expected, please see this Help Article.  Also, to reach out to the IRS directly in regards to more information about an offset, please follow the steps below:

• Listen to each menu before making the selection.
• First choose your language. Press 1 for English.
• Then do NOT choose the first choice re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
• Instead, press 2 for "personal income tax".
• Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".  
• Then press 3 "for all other questions."
• Then press 2 "for all other questions."  It should then transfer you to an agent.
