I have input all information for the federal form and saved it... A few weeks later, I went to retrieve it to finalize and cannot find the file.... please help

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Just as I clicked "Reply" I realized you posted from desktop Home and Business.

Underneath your question, it says you are using desktop Home and Business Edition for Windows.

In that product, the default location for the *.tax2025 data file is in the Documents\TurboTax folder. Look there, and search your entire computer system for any file ending in *.tax2025 and also look in the Recycle Bin.

If you have multiple Windows user accounts, such as Admin, etc., log into each one and do the searches within each user account.

Also check any external storage you might have used it on, and also if you have a cloud feature such as OneDrive there are some anecdotes of it ending up in OneDrive.
