When I did my taxes with Turbo online they asked if I wanted my tax refund on a card I answered yes my questions are how do I know when the tax refund card is on its way and is the tax refund card the Inuit turbo Visa card ? Or is it a whole different card ? I’m confused because when filing they asked if I wanted it on a tax refund card and I answered yes but I see that I’ve got a Inuit turbo Visa card being printed so I don’t know if that’s the card my tax refund will be put on or if it’s a different card that will come in the mail that will have the tax refund on it my tax refund has already been accepted by the IRS just waiting on the tax refund and the card trying to figure out which card will have the refund on it and how to find out when it’s on the way in the mail thank you

If you agree to receive a Turbo Tax Greendot card the refund will deposit to the card. Funds cannot be transferred to another account. See this TurboTax support FAQ https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/refunds/help/about-the-refund-advance-temporary-card/01/27511

You must have phoned TurboTax Support instead of the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card support.

Support for the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card is free.   That Card's support is not provided by TurboTax Support.   The Card has its own customer service.

It is TurboTax Support that requires PLUS or higher to have phone support for TurboTax issues, but for Card issues there is no fee at the Card's customer support.

When you phone the Turbo Prepaid Card's customer service at (888) 285-4169, do not enter the 16-digit card number (which you won't know, I assume) and do NOT yet enter your SSN at that point.  Let it continue on.

One of the options in the automated system is to report a card "lost, stolen, or never received."  Choose that.

Then at the next menu listen for the prompt for "not yet received".  I think it's option 2, but you'll just have to listen.

Then it will ask for your SSN.

I don't know what happens after that, since I have no way of testing it any farther.

Once you enter your social security number it checks their database if you have EVER had ANY type of card through them it will then say "it appears you have multiple cards on file in order to best help you please enter the last 4 digits of the card you are calling about" i got a refund card 2 years ago which i no longer have also had pay cards for temp agency i worked through which i also no longer have so it tells me "please call back when you have info goodbye" then hangs up on me im not sure what happens if you have never had a card through them

@Amfcbabyy

If you can't reach a live agent at the Turbo Prepaid Visa Card, here's something to try.  You haven't said what TurboTax product you used and whether or not you tried to reach TurboTax Support.

I don't know if you used a TurboTax Free Edition, which doesn't have phone support, or whether you used a paid product (PLUS or higher) which does have phone support.    If you used Free Edition and don't have TurboTax phone support without upgrading to PLUS for $30, then contact a TurboTax agent through Twitter or Facebook, tell them the trouble you're having, and ask them how you are supposed to reach a live agent at the TurboTax Prepaid Card.

That isn't unusual for some states.   There are over 40 state tax agencies, each doing its own thing.  Some states are fairly quick with refunds, while other states (such as WV, WI, NC, GA, LA, AL, and others) can take a long time processing returns--even several weeks--as they crack down on detecting fraudulent returns.  You may be able to get an idea about how long it takes in your state from the FAQs at your state's tax agency website as I will mention below.

First, if you efiled, be sure your efiled state return was accepted.  You can check by looking in your Online account at the Tax Home.

The FAQ below tells how to check on a state refund and has a link for your state.

TIP:   While you're at your state's tax website, also look for a statement or FAQ that may say about how long it takes to get a refund in your state and how to long to wait before phoning them.  Many states have such information on their websites.
