Refund advance

I'm having issues with the refund advance,I was accepted Jan 21,2022 and still haven't received it,but also have the pdf where I agreed to everything for it and turbo says they don't see it on there side of things..anyone having this issue too?

    Exactly! I'm passed the refund advance part, now I just pray out deposit goes to the account we had to get 


    @Bbcawdrey the account we were PRESSURED into getting, under false pretenses. This is wild. Never again. Its ashame it works now so everyone seems to be getting the advance.  I seriously needed it. I have 2 kids, 5 months pregnant and temporarily disabled. Smh. I should have just waited another week and i would have been fine. I don't even think they can fix the advance problem. Its all good.

    same thing with me filed jan 21 2022 accepted irs jan 24 2022. keep geting the run around from all 3 compainies, bank says im pre approved they are waiting to here from tt rather or not the irs has accepted my taxes, cal tt they make no since what so ever! they said no your taxes have to approved from irs not accepted i said no mam if that was case then i wouldnt need a advance, then they said i never applied for loan i said i have the 3 pages here saying i applied and it has my signature and date, then the bank says send us a certified letter asking the compliance department to look into the matter i did that and they told me same thing from beginning weve recived your application regarding the loan we havent gotten the accepted from irs part from tt. i emaild tt ceo & ck ceo. because i feel someone should have better information then what im getting ive never in my tax filing life had to deal with this many issues.

    I filed a complaint with the BBB and just received a call from the Presidents office of Intuit. He assured me that they were looking into it and gave me contact information until he reaches out again in a couple days. I will post an update then.

    Ok everyone so after almost weeks of trying to figure this out I finally got this response..they are trying to straighten it out

    I'm glad they at least responded, but in my opinion doesn't mean much. After the whole stimulus fiasco last year, they should have taken the time to make sure everything was ready this year. I'm pretty convinced at this point the whole refund advance was just a ploy to get people to sign up for Credit Karma money. What bothers me is that the whole time before my return was accepted by the IRS I was showing approved for the advance refund and the whole 24 to 48 hr message. As soon soon my status changed to accepted they also changed my refund advance to not approved.

    hey everyone! i wanted to share an email address i got from the ceo of tt, i emailed it and explained my issues, lady called me from 1800# within an hour of sending it! she said she will be getting to bottom of it and hopefully have an answer end of day. i suggest you all email and see if they can also help!

    Today is now 2/2/2022. I have had turbo tax for 4 years and never had this issue with my advance and I’m here for others that may have this issue I’m reading. I filed earlier this morning and called turbo tax after the 2 hour mark that they advertised just to say I’ll have to wait a few more hours then call back to say I’ll have to wait 24 hours then called first century bank and they’re saying they don’t even see an application for my refund advance with my social. This is so annoying none of the representatives know anything , credit karma doesn’t know anything and I didn’t even want to make a bank account with them it seems as if they’re forcing it I had a turbo tax card I can’t even add to get my refund the responses that I’m seeing on this page happened in late January it is now February and they’re still going through the same thing we all need our money they’re false advertising and no one can give a definite answer has anyone received the advance ??? I haven’t received emails or anything and my refund was accepted in almost an hour after filing

    All I know is A LOT of people are having this problem. But they’re still advertising the service like nothing is wrong.

    Yes same here! Filed was pre approved next day irs accepted everything... turbo tax told me it could take 48 hours but that was days ago and now I'm being told I should get an email saying if I was approved or not and for how much... that has never came! Mean while my taxes are going to a new account I didn't need just so I could get the advance because I've been off work with covid and need the money now!

    Is anyone else confused by the instruction in the email for redoing the refund advance? Where is the “file” button in the navigation bar? I don’t see it!

    @cutiekim641  Yeah I’m super confused because this doesn’t apply to me ! First century bank has my pre qualification already and I filed. This doesn’t work. I’m on phone with supervisor

    @Amjorda19 it sucks but hopefully the class action actually happens and you get a nice chunk of cash to make up for it....

    Yea i will be in that class action for sure this has happened to too many turbo tax customers to just be a mistake like i said they scammed their customers once again this tax season like last year....shame on turbotax people are in need of their funds and they dangled that advance in our face's🤬🤬🤬

    Not good enough we filed for the advance!!! Turbo tax you lied to customers this is EXTORTION!! turbo tax will get that filing money right back through the credit karma cards and first century bank fees were not STUPID🤡🤡🤡

    Literally today the lady told me that credit karma is in charge of the advances and not turbo tax but that’s not what the information I signed said

    You do realize that TurboTax and Credit Karma are part of the same company, Intuit?  Blaming one or the other does not really matter.  Credit Karma can't refund your money because you did not pay them anything.  Only TurboTax can do that.  But it all comes out of the same company's funds.  For the agent to try to blame one or the other shows that the agent does not know that the companies are the same.

    I’m aware & I just so happened to get an agent that sounded like she was too busy to be doing her job.. she wasn’t nice & accommodating like the ones you guys have had.
