Do I really have until 10/21 to file, if I filed my extension through Turbo Tax Home and Business? Please do let me know.

Not really, I just need to know if I'm going to be late or not.  I didn't realize that the extension deadline was the 15th, and I'm sitting here on the 17th working on my return.

are you located in a federally declared disaster area? in that case you may want to check the IRS website for  filing deadline. it has been extended for those affected.  however, I don't know if TT will allow you to e file.

You are late. You do not have until Oct. 21. The extended filing deadline was Oct. 15. If you are getting a refund there is no penalty for filing late. If you have a payment due, file as soon as possible to minimize the penalties and interest that you will have to pay.

You can no longer e-file a 2017 tax return. You will have to print your return, sign it, and file it by mail.
