Confused by the ACA and dependent status.
We had an ACA health plan for 2018 for a family of 4. This included my daughter who was 23 when the plan was selected in December 2017 to start in 2018. Subsequently she turned 24 in the summer of 2018 and is no longer a dependent for tax purposes for tax year 2018 (out of school and working).
Do I have to select the option "Shared this policy with another taxpayer who is not on my taxes" and report her AGI?
Seems like healthcare.gov should have alerted us that while she was eligible for insurance and premium savings this would come back during tax time.
Or am I missing something here???
Thanks

Yes, you will select "Shared this policy with another taxpayer who is not on my taxes"
No, you will not need to include her AGI
As you walk through the steps you will need to then allocate the premiums, SLCSP and APTC.
