I adopted my two boys in 2013 can I claim that now or should I do an ammendment?

You should file an amended return for 2013. 

You cannot use TurboTax Online to amend your 2013 tax return. You have to use the CD or download TurboTax software for 2013. If you paid for TurboTax Online for 2013, call TurboTax customer service to get a free download of the 2013 software so that you can amend your 2013 tax return.

An amended return is filed on a special form, Form 1040X. It cannot be e-filed. You have to print it and file it by mail. It takes the IRS up to 16 weeks to process an amended return.
