double check that theres no home energy credit on federal return then delete state and readd . worked for me

was able to edit the section by adding the state information and then going back to federal s the system could pick up on changes.

selecting yes to report renters * but entering 0 to report no amount

solved this by selecting use for that option and entering renters amount as 0 . it will then prompt that you do not qualify and let you continue on
