I still havent received the stimulus payment.. I know already that I do qualify. The trouble I am having is that on the 12th of January received a turbo tax email saying that payment was rejected because they didnt have my direct deposit account information available.. (they should have had it because they've had it the last few years I've been a customer) but as it were, I went and updated that information and clicked "done" at the end of the page. still checking the get my payment .. see status unavailable.. checked my bank.. no pending deposits.. so I was finally able to speak with a turbo tax rep named Latasha who assured me after verifying my credentials that I should see payment possibly tomorrow. okay thank you.. that's a relief.. but now moments ago I get another turbo tax email asking me to update my deposit infomation yet again ! I go to the site and it shows the same information I put in on the 12th.. I am concerned .. what the heck is going on ? can someone please explain the major malfunction.. time is running out with their cut off deadline.. and then I will be relegated and forced to just file an economic recovery credit ? this is not okay.. it will take months for me to get my tax refund .. and I am extremely dissatisfied. why would a turbo tax rep confirm my information by phone early this evening and now late this evening get another request for me to once again provide the deposit acct information.. what is wrong with this picture ? I need the funds. I cant tell you how much in words.. and I loathe that this interference is causing me undue stress and anxiety. This is not right! This is not acceptable by any means.. what is the situation here.. why is someone messing me up like this ??? !!

I"m in the same boat and for 2 days now trying to reach to confirm the shown last 4 digits on the IRS website of an account that I simply do not recognize nor ever had is futile. I cant help but believe that in this the supposed 3rd year with my turbotax online affiliation that I did in fact pay for elevated or privileged assistance in case there was ever a problem that shakes me to the core.. albeit some freaked out hurdle with irs notifcation about money they require of me .. a below poverty-leveled income 55 year old mom of a 14 and 17 year old struggling like the day is long. as it were, I am finding the GateKeepers are on top of their jobs! I cannot reach a live person .. in all my (thinking outside the box) efforts cannot get any comforting restful resolutional answers. I'm not being impatient. I'm being realistic. There are now measures in place by Turbo Tax that mimic horribly the efforts to reach someone from that of the IRS. So while we're on it.. Research abound.. i mean determined searches and findings that continue to be relentless...I then come to find articles that indicate that this 2nd stimulus payment.. that go through the treasury and then to the IRS (by the way turbo tax will address this stimulus and provide link for the IRS the same as I know happens as I write) will mimic that of how refunds, if any, from previous year filing information. There's also been suggestions that you can contact the IRS to input HOW you want to receive payment.. I have yet to successfully find that.. only something that tells me that you cannot do it if it's already in process.. well shoot.. I cant even confirm if it's being processed! I cannot reach anyone at the IRS .. nor TURBO TAX whatsoever. I have tried til I'm screaming! I need help .. I just want to speak with someone.. I'll take like a minute of your time if that.!! what he F in plain english!!!!

APPARENTLY, that is not true for those who used turbo tax and DIRECT DEPOSIT! The reason this information is completely false is that the IRS website that we all get redirected to is stating that they do not have direct deposit individual account numbers.. why? because the previous tax year.. turbotax implemented their OWN account number so that they get paid first from your refund. so how can you even say what you did about that? there is no way to reach someone directly at both turbotax now as well as the IRS.. The IRS call line and website is practically useless whereas the turbotax company was never like that before .. until now! I am so frustrated. I want to speak with someone at turbo tax directly and get nothing but lame automated gate keeping preventing me from this directive both by phone and by chat . I even put my phone on a call wait list for a freaking hour. the call finally comes, I answer it and it disconnects! this is not okay I tried calling back .. thrown into the monotonous call que and they claim they dont recognize my email address.. yet then offer to send me a text or email to it. this is NOT okay.. Especially since I am pretty certain I paid extra for direct assistance with my turbo tax fees last year to prevent this kind of crap. Irs said they will do direct deposit and follow their protocal with last years filing.. I chose turbo.. when I try to see where GET MY PAYMENT shows.. it shows last years information as well as an UNKNOWN BANK account number.. so you try again !!!

first off.. the automated phone [removed] doesnt even recognize my email addres.. yet offers to send me a text
or email for what they presume is helpful information. it's not!!! i want to speak with someone directly. i have been trying for 2 days. I even waited an hour for a call back.. got the call .. answered it and it disconnected.
I do believe I paid extra in fees last year for assistance and this is the [removed] I'm getting. I am so frustrated. I just want to ask someone directly about my account and my concerns.. this is NOT okay.. and you are seriously about to lose another client because of this horse [removed].

Apparently there is a connection to us receiving the 2nd stimulus payment if we used turbo tax to file our taxes which I did. When I got home from a 10 hour shift I checked the 'get my payment' and come to find out that they are not going to process my payment until .. of all things!.. April 15th! Additionally concerning is that it showed an unknown bank account number! I'm freaking out on both issues! Why on earth is Turbo Tax involved with a stimulus payment.. this is not a taxed payment! so why on earth is it being a factor? I want answers. I have two teenage kids and live well below poverty level income! Just about everybody I know has received their deposit and/or actual paper check. This is so cruel and so not right!

i have had a huge issue discovered today. When I opted to get direct deposit ,having used turbo tax for a few years now, the bank account shown was already pre-filled out so I clicked yes. Because I still had the same bank and account number. Turns out the last digit of the bank account number was missing. This was NOT my mistake! why did turbo tax not have the last digit .. I have used them in previous years and I had no reason to think that the last numerical number would have been cut off and/or left out . Again, this was not my error. Turbo tax got paid their fees and I still do not have my refund. Due to the corona virus both my part time jobs are closed. I am frantic because now I have under 50 cents in my account. two teens and I desperately needed my refund. It was 21 days this past friday and so when I finally reached the IRS was told that this wednesday, (today) the funds would be sent to my account. They werent. so I called again to the IRS and out of curiosity wanted to double check the routing account information to discover the last zero was not on the account number! Now I'm having to wait til the bank rejects the funds sent, send back to turbo tax and thus wait another couple of weeks for a paper check from turbo. This is a huge inconvenience and I am completely disgusted and upset. TURBO tax HAD my electronic information already in their system so why the heck did this problem surface? of all things! I am desperate for my refund .. I cannot work due to mandated shut downs and this is causing a true hardship that words cannot even describe! What the heck!!!

okay I understand that possible suggestion. However, my situation is almost the same as the person who asked this question. only the confusion is that the WMR site had the same information as of yesterday and indicated 'accepted' on the WMR site.. even for a good week or so.. and then today it now says information is incorrect.. It's not incorrect.. so why on earth would the WMR site now all of a sudden be showing that my information is not correct.. can you please help with this ? it was showing and now incorrect information? I double checked tripple checked and quadruple checked.. it's not incorrect.. it's the same input factors as it's been for a good week or so.. I'd like to know why the WMR site is ALL OF A SUDDEN showing i entered incorret information?? Also, the turbo tax log in area still shows 'accepted' and still shows the EXACT same information needed for the WMR site.. so this is rather troublesome to now see this on the WMR site. please address this if you could.. thank you

What I'm trying to discover is if I missed seeing an anticipated estimated refund date because 12 days after filing and 'accepted' it's now showing estimated refund date whereas hadnt noticed this previously. is that something I just must have overlooked or, does turbo tax show this information after so many days have passed since filing and acceptance?
