I had my taxes prepared on turbotax online, but before filing got an error saying the following:
Form 4562/Depreciation and Amortization Not Ready
So I asked an expert if switching to "full service" would fix that. And they said it would, so I switched to full service.
So I essentially was on the phone with the expert and uploaded all of my documents so they could prepare the return, but they got the same error. So then they directed me to download turbotax desktop so I could go in and see the forms 4562 after reentering and rechecking information, and after doing so, I saw that it does have a form 4562 with correct information.
So then, they had me prepare to file that way, but then I got this error when I went to e-file:
Your request was not understood by the e-filing service. - Invalid XML. cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'legalName'. One of '{filerId}' is expected. Please verify that your application program is up-to-date.
Others here in Turbotax help have said the workaround for that problem is to SWITCH BACK to turbo tax online, but when I tried to do so since I had already filled out my taxes IN FULL via BOTH FULL SERVICE AND TURBOTAX ONLINE, the page just spins endlessly between full service and turbotax online, and tehn says that the connection is broken.
I HAVE NOW DONE ALL OF THE WORK NOT ONCE BUT THREE TIMES TO FILE MY TAXES. HOW IN THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO TRANSMIT THESE RETURNS?
I HAVE DONE AN ABSOLUTELY SUPERHUMAN AMOUNT OF TROUBLESHOOTING.
