If you want to change that she is NOT claimed as a dependent, then...

To edit your Personal Info:

  1. Open your tax return.
  2. Click on “Take me to my return” button.
  3. Click on “My Info” (left-hand column).
  4. Edit your spouse's name.

Please see screenshot below.

The question in the screenshot is only available in 'Married filing jointly' and not available in 'Married filing separately'. I changed my tax return to 'Married filing jointly', change my answer to 'No', and then changed my filing status to 'Married filing separately' and I'm still receiving the same error message. I don't know what to do.

I can't even clear and start over because it gives me the error that I've already paid the TurboTax fee. Which is absurd because I'm paying for a service that isn't even working for me and because I already paid for it it's disallowing me from circumventing a possible bug with the software..?? Please HELP!!!
