You can skip filing your state tax return. You will need to delete your state and then continue to e-file.

You can delete your state by following these instructions:

  1. Under your "State Taxes" section click on "Your State Returns" or click continue at the bottom of the page
  2. Click on the trashcan icon (or the word delete) right next to your state to delete it
  3. The next page will ask you to confirm deletion of State return click on "Yes"
  4. Click on "Done With State" and continue to e-file
