It won't let me click on transmit my return on the last page...any ideas why?

i can file my taxes due to a update from 8606S Nondeductable ira and 1040 form how do i get these updates as the program will not install these updated.

You should start your own new thread at the link below so you can be questioned and helped.  When you go to the form at the link, the first box is for a summary of your question, like a title, and is limited to 170 characters..  If you need more room, lower on the form you will come to another box with plenty of room to enter details.    This is a public Internet forum, so don't post any personal info.

That's not the same as the topic of this thread.   Did you try to log in too many times and are locked out for a certain time?

 If you don't remember your password or User ID, use the Account Recovery tool at the link below to regain access.    Try using your phone number first.   After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.

NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop.  Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below.  You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.

If still no luck after running that on your phone number and email address(es) that you can access,  here's another method:

Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, and choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.

If your "Transmit My Returns Now" button is not working, it may be due to a CAPTCHA not appearing, where one would need to checkmark "I am not a robot."

NOTE:   Are you using any ad blockers or script blockers?   If so, that may be blocking the CAPTCHA.

Otherwise, here's how to troubleshoot:

• First, simply refresh the page in your browser and see if that changes anything.
  
• If not, then log out and clear your browser Internet cache.
• Close the browser and reopen it.
• Make sure cookies are allowed/enabled in your browser settings so the CAPTCHA will appear.
• Log in and try again.
• If still unsuccessful, do all the above, then this time open a private window/private browsing (aka "incognito mode").
• Log in with the private window (again making sure cookies are allowed) and try the efile again.
  

Or see if trying a different browser (with cookies allowed) will solve it.

Call the 18004intuit; they will screen share and get you fixed up. Melissa helped me and stayed on line til I was able to e-file with credit card.

You may need to change browsers. I was using Opera
 Completed my return. Tried to transmit/file...no Captcha...
So, I switched to Mozilla Firefox. Went to my completed return (same user name and ID).  My completed return was right there, and in a step or two, Captcha appeared and I filed my return. You need to file it on compatible browser. Turbo Tax can tell you which browsers work

All the common browsers "potentially" work (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari), but not all browsers are configured the same way, since there are innumerable ways that users can customize and configure cookies, privacy settings, etc..   And some people use browser extensions like script blockers and ad blockers, etc, or may be using high security in IE, etc.   Firefox might work for one person, but not for another.  Chrome might work for someone, but not for another.   It's unpredictable, and trial and error.   That's why simply changing browsers often works, since it's likely that the second browser is not configured exactly the same way as the first browser.
