you also need to attach any withholding forms to your returns.   if you haven't mailed yet, perhaps you can provide the reject code so you can still e-file.   e-file   results in a faster refund if that's your situation.

Yes, if you are filing by mail you will have to mail it yourself.  Be sure to sign your returns, otherwise they will be considered as not having been filed.  You should make and keep a copy for your records.
