Im getting questioned for Form 8889- T. I was married last year but I kept my own insurance as Self. My wife had Family for her and her son. Now its telling me to change mine to family also even though we still have seperate insurances.

Yes, go ahead and indicate that your coverage is Family in TurboTax.

To quote the IRS: "In the case of individuals who are married to each other, if either spouse has family coverage, both are treated as having family coverage." (IRS Notice 2004-2).

This sets the contribution limit to the family limit.
