Do taxes come out right for alimony if you don't get deluxe?

Yes, alimony payments and alimony income are both reported on schedule 1 which is available in TurboTax Deluxe. If divorce or separation agreement was executed after December 31, 2018, then you don't include alimony as income or deduct payments made.
