I filed my taxes using TurboTax Premier, and when I finished the final analysis showed the return was accepted and everything but when I looked at the header it said for 2019. I already filed that and it was already transacted. I have a screen shot of this. Im really hoping this is a software error and that the IRS won't flag me. I spent the money on the audit protection and all but seeing as its your software that shows an error, I hope there is someone fixing this or at least can help me find out what the deal is. Also, as soon as this question is answered, I would ask the screen shot to be taken down.
if you look at the top of the photo you can see I filed this year. What happened? Or is this normal?

Your screenshot doesn't indicate that this tax return was filed in 2021.
The Refund Analysis is available prior to and post filing.
There are multiple indications on this screen that the software being used is TurboTax Premier Desktop 2019.
The software name at the top left next to the check mark is TurboTax Premier 2019.
Your file name has the .tax2019 extension which is only generated by TurboTax 2019 programs.
And the Refund Analysis is labelled 2019.
The TurboTax Graphical User Interface (GUI) or look and feel is nearly identical from one year to the next with updates due to changes in tax law provided and calculations in the software based on updates to tax laws.
TurboTax Desktop users need to purchase a new software package each year and can import easily their prior year return information YourName.tax2019 (for example) which then becomes a YourName.tax2020 file.
You can hover over the icon on your desktop to see which version of TurboTax you are using.
You can also contact TurboTax Help from within your software Help to verify what has been electronically filed for you for 2019 and what versions of TurboTax are registered to you.
