Our WI returns were rejected and an additional $3k tax payment due based on residing in WI with a rental property in AZ. It seems Turbotax didn't take this new tax law into account in the 2022 version, so our income on WI was underreported. Is Turbotax going to correct this issue in 2023, or do we have to manually adjust on WI? And how do I make sure I don't get charged for WI returns again given that it was expensive and time consuming to correct?

What law change? Under normal circumstances, you are required to report and pay tax in your home state on all your worldwide income. Was there some provision in Wisconsin tax law that your Arizona income was previously tax exempt in Wisconsin?
In addition to wondering what new law change you are referring to, as Opus asked, when you say that your return was "rejected", do you mean that the return was actually rejected when trying to file, or just that the state sent you a letter assessing additional tax for 2022?
