Will TurboTax notify me when its updates have been made?

The Deduction section is currently unavailable for input due to required updates.

TurboTax will not notify you of updates. Updates are usually released on Thursdays. At this time of year there is an update almost every week. Just check each Thursday or Friday to see if the section you are looking for has been added.
